I'm aware of some by name. The ones most relevant to what happened, I suppose. Bane, Myrkul, and Bhaal. Some others, more relevant to the individuals Astarion travelled with.

How much do you know about Bane?

That he was one of a group called the Dead Three. The god of Tyranny. That you were his... chosen, empowered to do his will.

Souls of their followers belong to them. Those deemed failures or otherwise unclean can expect especially terrible afterlives. Even if your failure was planned and orchestrated by your deity.

The thing about being certain that you are correct: finding ways to be correct faster is sometimes a little difficult.

Does rushing things meant to be done correctly tend to yield better or worse results?

Worse, of course. But currently you are doing nothing at all. Beginning your journey, at least, would be progress without rushing.

I do not have control over any of this beginning. I do the job I have been given and I do not make trouble. Calling what I am expected and required to do 'nothing' is reductive.
